Pancakes are a reciple that can date back all the way to ancient Green and ancient Rome however they are a best known recipe in Canada and the United States.

Sometimes referred to as griddlecakes or flapjacks, pancakes can be prepared several ways using different flours or topping and are a perfect side next to bacon, toast or eggs.

There’s nothing like a great wake and bake recipe and this marijuana recipe is definitely one you’ll want to try.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons of room temperature marijuana butter cut into 1/2″ pieces
  • 3 teaspoons of granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 cups bread flour or all purpose flour
  • 1/4 nonfat dry milk
  • 2 teaspoons finely crushed dry marijuana herb
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Instructions:

Proof your yeast in warm water with 1/8 teaspoon sugar mixed in, about equal water to yeast. Allow ten minutes to proof, you should see fairly large bubbles around the edges and bubbling out the top.

In a large bowl, mix together, with your hands, the dry ingredients. Using your hands allows the flour to stay soft and light.

Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Use your hands to bring the mixture together. Punch the dough for about ten minutes, it should form a smooth ball, add flour if too wet and sticky, add water if too firm.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap or towel, allow the dough to rise at least double in size, in a warm place.

Punch down the dough and place the it in bread pan form or create buns in a pan. Cover and allow to rise double in size again.

Spread marijuana butter over the top.

Cook at 350F. for 30 minutes. Remove from bread pan, allow to cool and enjoy. Sometimes the bread does not get a chance to cool, it gets eaten too fast.

Home made marijuana bread can be frozen for later consumption.
